Chocolate and Almond Smoothie Bowl

This smoothie bowl is my absolute favourite. It tastes just like a creamy chocolate ice cream, but is filled with nourishing ingredients. It is super indulgent, but so good for you! And it is so quick to make too, perfect as a delicious breakfast, snack or even as dessert!
2 frozen bananas
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp Almond Butter
A dash of cinnamon
Plant based milk (until you reach your desired consistency)
Primal Joy Cinnamon Granola
Chop your frozen bananas into bite sized pieces and add them to a blender with the cocoa powder, nut butter and cinnamon. Add your choice of plant based milk, I like to use almond milk or oat milk for this recipe. Add a little bit at a time as how much you need really depends on your blender. You don’t want to add too much right away as the consistency can easily become too runny. Keep adding the milk until all the ingredients are blended together. The consistency should be somewhere between a smoothie and ice cream. Add your smoothie to a bowl and top with your favourite toppings. My top choices are raspberries, blueberries, Primal Joy cinnamon granola, and some chocolate shavings.
